        With just one photo and a single audio clip, this AI can create a convincing talking head video. No strings attached.

        The demo videos created by OmniHuman-1 are way ahead of previous attempts to create AI-Generated talking heads.

        It has been trained on a whopping 19, 000 hours of video content.

        This amount of training is like having watched the majority of YouTube videos that most people upload to watch themselves.

        So it could be a possible result of surveillance capitalism: AI prefers certain ways to act, almost politics-like speech.

        The implications of deepfake technology could be-maybe even, are always, scary.

        Today, people in power can create a video of a politician saying things they never even thought about saying.

        You can seriously start questioning what you see and hear online.

        Even in 2023, the technology has been used in court to steal money from others.

        February 2023 was a hard time for a finance worker.

        A deepfake scam of $25. 6 million was carried out by criminals over a video call.

        So when you see a video online that seems a little off, it is best to do some more research before believing it.
