Ralph Yarl, a Black teenager, mistakenly went to his twin brothers' home, thinking it was his own. However, he ended up in the wrong house, belonging to 85-year-old Andrew Lester in Kansas City.

The incident led to a shooting, and Lester is now facing charges of felony assault and armed criminal action. The trial of Lester has been indefinitely postponed as a judge orders a mental evaluation to determine if he is fit to stand trial.
