Kennedy's Health Stances: Popular or Not?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is known for his controversial health views. As his Senate confirmation hearings begin, a new poll reveals that not all his ideas are unpopular. The survey, by The Associated Press-NORC Center, shows that while many Americans don't like his vaccine skepticism and raw milk promotion, they do support his plans to reform processed foods. Kennedy's long-held belief that vaccines are dangerous has raised eyebrows. The poll shows that around 4 in 10 Americans oppose reevaluating vaccine recommendations. However, his idea to restrict ingredients in processed foods is widely supported, with about 7 in 10 Democrats and Republicans in favor.

Interestingly, Kennedy's views on raw milk and fluoride in drinking water are less popular. About 4 in 10 Americans oppose removing raw milk restrictions and fluoride from water. But there's some disagreement among age groups and political parties. Kennedy's stance on weight loss drugs is more accepted. Half of Americans think it's good for obese adults to use these drugs, and they also support Medicare and Medicaid covering them. Lastly, Kennedy's support for abortion rights might clash with Republican senators' views. While 6 in 10 voters in the November election said abortion should be legal, conservative voters lean the other way.
