He mixed it with local soil to create a wall covering for his booth. Merel's art is all about community and working together. He also paints abstract pictures of buildings that don't exist. These paintings show how Panama is a mix of different cultures and traditions. These artists are using their art to tell stories about their cultures and to bring people together.
