Little Canon Curry: Future Golf Star or Basketball Champ?
San Francisco, USAMonday, February 10, 2025
Stephen Curry isn’t just busy with basketball. He’s recently taken on a new role. He and his former teammate Zaza Pachulia are now Special Ambassadors for UN Tourism. They’re focusing on using sports tourism to bring people together and boost economies around the globe.
Curry, a four-time NBA champ, has a huge global influence. He’s promoting how sports tourism can fuel growth and opportunity. Pachulia, who also has two NBA championship rings with the Warriors, shares the same vision.
This new role is part of a bigger picture. The United Nations Tourism board is excited to have them on board, knowing that their influence will reach a massive audience. Fans already travel the world to see their favorite teams, and Curry and Pachulia want to encourage them to explore even more.
They're part of a group of Special Ambassadors from sports, business, and culture, all working together to make tourism a force for unity and growth. But how much of a difference will they make?
