Lost Hiker Found Alive After 13 Days in Australian Wilderness

A 23-year-old hiker who went missing in Kosciuszko National Park, south of Sydney, was found alive after 13 days. Hadi Nazari was last seen by friends on December 26, and when he didn't return, a massive search was launched. Over 300 people from various rescue agencies scoured the dense wilderness for signs of him. Nazari wasn't found by the search teams but by a group of hikers near a trail, about 6 miles from the search command post. He had survived on two granola bars he found at an abandoned hut. The search had been challenging due to the harsh summer conditions, but the presence of water in the area provided hope.

Kosciuszko National Park is known for its challenging trails and stunning scenery, making it a popular spot for hikers. The successful search was a result of extensive efforts by emergency services and volunteers who never gave up hope. Nazari was airlifted out and reunited with his family, who were overjoyed to have him back safely.
