macOS Tahoe Beta 2: Small Tweaks, Big Changes?
USATuesday, June 24, 2025
Here's something cool: you can now beta test AirPods firmware updates directly on your Mac. Just connect your AirPods, open System Settings, and toggle on beta updates. This feature is currently for developers only, but Apple plans to open it up to the public in July. The latest firmware beta improves audio quality for calls and recordings, lets you use AirPods as a camera remote, and even pauses audio if it detects you've fallen asleep.
The first public beta of macOS Tahoe is expected in July, with the final release likely in September. So, keep an eye out for more updates!
