Busy Bees Entertainment had something to Buzz about. They announced they had hired a new Creative Head for their Busy team. Cahnill is the right woman for the job where she will push the Netflix drama "Pulse" and more! Netflix isn't wasting any time with new projects under Busy B Entertainment's umbrella. You won’t believe what they've got in the works. This is what we know so far! Busy B Entertainment's grand projects include a one-hour animated series of Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. But don't forget Fangirl written by Rainbow Rowland ! ! ! All these projects are intended to be produced with Netflix. It's worth noting that Maggie Cahill is an experienced producer. She worked on a bunch of projects with Parkes+MacDonald and David Schulner's Universal Television Studios. Before this, Maggie spent time at Alloy Entertainment. she helped out with some popular shows like Pretty Little Liars, The 100, You! I must tell you that Alloy Entertainment has a history of taking on young writers! They are especially interested in dark stories of all kinds about girls! Maggie's journey at Alloy must have been interesting.
Her resume also included stints with Universal Studios. where she helped launch David Schulner's new production company, Mount Moriah. Maggie Cahill now works under Bradley Gardner, who previously served as EVP at Orion Television. He started Busy B Entertainment in 2023, and is under a new overall deal with Netflix. We should also point out that he is working on Pulse with Carlton Cuse and Zoe Robyn. Citizen is another project you must know about! Maggie Cahill has a reputation for recognizing projects that can grow big, no matter how small they start out. And she does it all with a clear vision of delivering bigger audiences, which makes Gardner happy. Her new role emphasizes her unique ability to latch onto projects with a "Popcorn+" tone. What does this mean ? ! Maggie's job is more than just finding projects. She finds talent that can deliver show-stopping performances. She is a woman who knows her stuff and has the heart to share it. Her advice for young producers is to have fun! ! Fun is important in this industry. She is full of ideas and not afraid of jumping in and learning about genres that are new to her! We are also uber excited for the new animated one-hour series of Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh.
