March's Wild Weather: Another Storm on the Horizon

Depending on the storm's path, these risks could extend into Monday for some areas in the East.

This is expected over portions of the southern High Plains, where rain from the storm on Thursday and Friday, as well as any rain from the new storm on Saturday, may not reach. Meanwhile, farther north, a swath of snow and wintry mix is expected. This wintry precipitation could extend from central Colorado and eastern Wyoming to parts of the Dakotas, Minnesota, and the northern parts of Wisconsin, Michigan, New York, and New England. This month's weather pattern is unusual, with severe weather incidents happening more frequently than in previous years. It's a reminder of how unpredictable and powerful nature can be.
