Mayor Fights Back Against Trump's Claims on Migrant Gangs

At a rally in Aurora, Trump repeated his claims, saying the city was "invaded and conquered" by migrants. He also accused Vice President Kamala Harris of allowing gangs to take over buildings. Coffman's statement countered this, saying the city hasn't been taken over by migrant gangs. He added that any incidents were limited and police acted on them. Coffman pointed out that thousands attended Trump's rally and could see the city's reality for themselves. He expressed disappointment that Trump didn't explore more of Aurora. Trump has faced backlash before from Republican leaders for false claims, such as allegations of Haitian migrants kidnapping pets.
