Medical Students in Eastern China: Pioneering Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Medical students in eastern China are at the forefront of this movement, thanks to a unique training program. The program's effectiveness was put to the test with a survey of 479 medical students. The results were impressive. Students showed significant improvements in various skills, including identifying and screening demands, generating and selecting concepts, strategic planning, and business planning. The most notable improvement was in demand identification, which saw a remarkable boost. The program's success isn't just about skills development. Students have also made a name for themselves in academic and competitive arenas. They've published papers, secured patents, and won provincial and national-level awards. In fact, the number of national-level awards they've won in competitions has more than doubled from 2019 to 2023, going from 32 to 66.
