Eugenio Chacarra, born in Madrid, Spain, in 2000, has been making waves in the golf world. He started playing golf at nine, inspired by Spanish legend Seve Ballesteros. His father, Ignacio Lopez-Chacarra, introduced him to the game and has been his biggest supporter. Before focusing on golf, Eugenio was a keen football player, but a wrist injury led him to switch sports. As a junior golfer, he won over 100 tournaments and was ranked among the top 50 amateurs. His impressive college career at Wake Forest University and Oklahoma State University paved the way for his professional debut with LIV Golf in 2022. He won his first professional tournament in Bangkok but faced ups and downs until he won the LIV International Series in 2025. His sister, Carolina, is also a professional golfer, and they have supported each other throughout their careers.
