You'll move in set distances and choose targets wisely before shooting. This isn't just another Into the Breach—it has the classic SNK artwork we all love. Leikir Studio is the brains behind this new game, with Dotemu as the publisher. You can play it on Steam (Windows/Linux), Nintendo Switch, PS4/5, and Xbox One/S/X (only on Game Pass). The release date is set for November 5, 2024, and it’s rated E for Everyone (10+). On PC, it will cost $25. Metal Slug games are known for their wild vehicles, funny enemies, and amazing sprite art. And Metal Slug Tactics delivers all that in a turn-based game. Instead of feeling slow like usual strategy games, this one keeps the action going. In each mission, you'll have a squad of three characters, each with a few weapons, including a never-ending pistol. You’ll face off against a bunch of enemies on an isometric level, and you can see their attack range. Your missions could be anything from wiping out all enemies to rescuing someone special. The farther your squad moves in a turn, the more "Adrenaline" they build up, boosting their special abilities and dodging power. Ending up near cover is a bonus. Plus, this game hates when you play it safe. It’ll give you tips through your comms manager to encourage moving more, making you tougher.
