Minnesota, USAFriday, October 25, 2024
F. Scott Fitzgerald, the famous author, was born in St. Paul. Al Franken, a multi-talented individual, also hails from St. Louis Park. He's been an actor, comedian, writer, and even a senator.
Charles Schulz, the creator of the beloved comic strip "Peanuts, " is from Minneapolis. Vince Flynn, a well-known author, was born in St. Paul. And let's not forget Roger Maris, the baseball player from Hibbing.
But Minnesota isn't the only state with famous faces. Wisconsin, known as America's Dairyland, has its share too. Oprah Winfrey, born in Mississippi, moved to Milwaukee when she was just six. Mark Ruffalo, the actor, is from Kenosha. Comedian Frank Caliendo hails from Waukesha. And Tony Romo, the NFL quarterback turned broadcaster, is from Burlington.
It's interesting how these celebrities have put their home states on the map, isn't it?
