MLB Moves Tigers-Guardians Game 5 to Daytime for Weather and TV Conflicts

The game, originally set for 8:08 p.m. on Saturday, will now begin at 1:08 p.m. due to potential bad weather and to avoid clashes with other sports events. This change was announced as the Tigers were practicing at Progressive Field on Friday.

The series between the Tigers and the Guardians has been quite exciting so far, with Cleveland winning Game 4 on Thursday night to even things up. Pinch-hitter David Fry's home run in the seventh inning made the difference, keeping the AL Central champions in the game. Some fans might find the seven-hour shift in game time inconvenient.
