You might have heard about mobile apps helping people with HIV manage their medication. But are these apps following the rules? A recent study dug into this, checking if these apps are telling us what they're supposed to. These apps are designed to help people with HIV stick to their antiretroviral therapy (ART). ART is super important for keeping the HIV virus in check. The World Health Organization (WHO) has set guidelines for reporting on these mobile health interventions, but not everyone seems to be playing by the rules. The study found that many apps aren't properly sharing all the details they should, which could make it hard for others to learn from their successes and mistakes. This doesn't help in the fight against HIV, does it? If we want to keep making progress, we need better reporting.
