Located on Midtown Avenue, right next to MUSC Midtown, this hub is designed to be a great spot for friends and family to hang out. Mack Cross, one of the co-developers, explained that Gather Mount Pleasant will offer a variety of food and beverage options, along with live music – much like its sister location in Greenville. But it’s not just about the food and music. There will also be retail, office, and salon spaces to make it a one-stop destination.

They’ve reduced the project’s scale and ditched the hotel plan due to both residents’ concerns and changes in the economy. They also addressed noise worries by designing the setup to naturally lower the noise level, especially at night. Cross believes they’ve come up with the best plan for the area. If approved, their next step is to finalize the construction drawings and submit them for building permit approval from the town. They hope to start construction this coming spring or summer, with a completion target of mid-2026.
