He also emphasized that while borders should be respected, it's wrong to label entire groups as bad people. Del Toro sees politics as a complex and difficult game. He stated, "There's a lot of people suffering because of it. It has to be put in check." He trusts that the younger generation will play a crucial role in shaping the future. When asked about his upcoming projects, del Toro mentioned working with director Paul Thomas Anderson on "The Phoenician Scheme" and "The Battle of Baktan Cross," where he will star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn.
