The future of the event, however, isn’t completely in the clear. Weather forecasts predict a 30% chance of rain during both the qualifying and the main event days. This could pose a challenge, but NASCAR is prepared. Goodyear has designed wet-weather tires that could keep the race on track, even in damp conditions.
