World No. 1 golfer Nelly Korda recently opened up about her latest venture outside the golf course – modeling for the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. Korda first revealed this news after her opening round at The ANNIKA event. She shared that the opportunity came to her about two months ago, initially planning to participate after returning from Asia. However, a neck injury forced her to withdraw from two LPGA events, freeing up her schedule for the photoshoot.

Korda, who hadn’t previously considered modeling, found the experience both challenging and exciting. "I was very shy at first, " she admitted. "But it was amazing. The whole crew was fantastic, and by the end of the day, I was having a blast. " This unique opportunity comes after a stellar year for Korda, which included an appearance at the Met Gala, six LPGA wins, and earning the Player of the Year title.
