The pact, long in the works, was announced at the Royal Television Society London Convention, where Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos revealed the intentions of the global streamer to collaborate with Gadd on numerous projects. The partnership, rooted in the phenomenal success of "Baby Reindeer", only comes as a surprise to those unfamiliar with the show's extraordinary 11 Emmy nominations and six wins, including Outstanding Limited Series. Last month, after the show's impressive run, Netflix and Gadd agreed to the deal, solidifying the streamer's position as the perfect partner for the creator. In fact, it was Netflix's commitment to giving Gadd creative freedom that had initially swayed him away from other suitors, including HBO.

The BBC drama, "Lions", featuring Gadd as the creator, writer, executive producer, and star, is another project eagerly anticipated by fans. Produced by Clerkenwell Films, "Lions" has been praised for its nuanced portrayal of a struggling comedian, Donny Dunn, and his complicated relationship with his female stalker.
