The decision to revamp the show is largely driven by the need for broadcasters to adapt to the changing media landscape. With the rise of streaming, content must be designed to be consumed on-demand and have lasting appeal. In addition, the show's focus on financial news and statistical analysis may no longer be enough to capture the attention of its target audience.
To achieve this, Bloomberg is expanding the show's distribution channels. It will air on Fridays at 6 p.m. eastern on Bloomberg TV and on Sundays at 2 p.m. eastern on 195 PBS stations with WORLD digital channels, representing 77% of U.S. TV households.
