New Film House Sweetheart Entertainment
Nicky Weinstock and Andrea Bucko have teamed up to create Sweetheart Entertainment, a fresh production company that debuted at Cannes while both had films in the festival’s competition sections.
- Weinstock produced Clarissa, shown in Directors’ Fortnight, and
- Bucko worked on James Gray’s Paper Tiger.
Both films were picked up by Neon.

Together, the founders aim to support storytellers who challenge norms and connect deeply with audiences. Sweetheart Entertainment plans to launch its first slate soon, promising a mix of daring narratives and heartfelt cinema.
