Jill Basinger Joins Stris & Maher LLP as Head of Media, Entertainment and Sports Litigation
Jill Basinger has moved to Stris & Maher LLP, where she will lead the Media, Entertainment and Sports Litigation team from Los Angeles. She plans to leverage the firm’s national reach to serve clients across the country.
Before joining Stris & Maher, Jill spent more than a decade at Glaser Weil LLP as a partner. Her practice covered:
- Defamation
- Contracts
- Profit‑sharing disputes
- Privacy issues
- Intellectual property
- Employee transitions and sensitive investigations
During her tenure at Glaser Weil, Jill worked closely with trial lawyer Patty Glaser. Together they represented high‑profile clients such as:
- Snoop Dogg
- Keith Olbermann
- Bill Gross (ICM and PIMCO)
These cases often carried significant reputational risks, demanding sharp legal strategy.
