The owners, Michael Bishop and Holly Randolph, have taken a holistic approach to revitalizing the town. They have introduced activities such as pool tournaments, canning events, and a fall festival to create a sense of community. Bishop's passion for his work is evident when he says, "It isn't government that makes communities great, it's people. And so I just put my money where my mouth was when I saw this open and said this is what fixes a rundown town, is when people start putting their money in and investing in their own community."

The mayor of Swansea, Viola McDaniel, is thrilled to see more options for residents. "I'm delighted for the citizens. People come in and they ask well where can we go to eat," she says. For residents, the arrival of new businesses has been a game-changer. Gone are the days of limited options; now, there's a Mexican restaurant and store, Tienda y Taqueria El Rinconcito, offering a taste of Latin cuisine, and Sea Swan Cafe and Bistro, serving up delicious meals in a cozy setting.
