New TV Role for Former College Football Coach

The former head coach of two major college teams has moved into television. He will join CBS Sports as a game‑by‑game analyst and also appear on the weekly show “Inside College Football.” In addition, he will provide commentary for CBS Sports HQ.

First Broadcasts

• August 29 – Jacksonville State vs. North Dakota State on CBS Sports Network
• September 12 – Texas Tech vs. Oregon State
• September 19 – BYU vs. Colorado State

All of these matches will air on CBS, according to reports.

Coaching Legacy

• LSU (2018‑2021) – 34–14 record, three straight bowl victories. LSU owed him a $53.2 million buyout when they let him go.
• Notre Dame (2010‑2021) – 113–40 record, national championship game appearance in 2012. Earned AP Coach of the Year honors in 2012 and 2018.
