Cannon shared that he possesses most of the traits related to NPD, which includes a strong sense of self-importance and difficulty empathizing with others. The condition can also make it challenging to maintain relationships, something Cannon has experienced. Cannon has a history of mental health evaluations. He was previously diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and dyslexia as a child. This latest diagnosis of NPD has encouraged him to seek professional help. He hopes to become the best version of himself and serve as an example for others dealing with similar conditions.

While participating in a Thanksgiving charity event, Cannon told reporters that he has always been aware of his neurodivergent nature. He emphasized the importance of mental health and therapy. Cannon's openness about his condition has sparked conversations about mental health awareness and the importance of seeking professional help. Cannon shares 12 children with six different women, making his family life complex. Despite the challenges, he aims to spend quality time with all his children during holidays. He stressed that his busy schedule requires careful planning to visit each child and enjoy their favorite holiday dishes.
