Ukraine has released a video that they claim shows North Korean soldiers receiving Russian military gear. The video, shared by Ukraine's Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security, shows a line of people believed to be North Korean soldiers picking up clothes and bags from Russian servicemen. The authenticity of the video couldn't be independently verified by the Associated Press. Ihor Solovey, the head of the center, said the video was obtained from their own sources but couldn't provide more details due to security concerns. He believes the video is crucial because it's the first visual evidence showing North Korea's involvement in the war on Russia's side, beyond just weapons and shells. The center suggests the footage was captured by a Russian soldier recently, but the exact location remains unknown. This development follows a claim by Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, who said around 11, 000 North Korean infantrymen are currently training in eastern Russia. He estimated they would be ready to join the fight by November, with at least 2, 600 heading to the Kursk region. Solovey warned that the arrival of new soldiers means Ukraine will need additional weapons to counter them. He stressed that sharing the video is important to alert the global community about the growing threat and the need for more support to resist the aggression. The involvement of North Korean soldiers, if true, would strengthen the military ties between Russia's President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who signed a strategic partnership treaty last summer.
