Notion: A New Email Service on the Horizon?

Ever heard of Notion? Well, this productivity app is cooking up something new. Rumors are flying that Notion is about to launch an email service, possibly called Notion Mail. Earlier this year, Notion snapped up Skiff, a privacy-focused email service. Skiff gave its users a heads-up that they'd have a year to switch to another email service. Reddit users have been dropping hints about Notion's new email product for a while now. Some even stumbled upon the development environment URL and the login page. When TechCrunch tried to access the email product, they were briefly shown "Notion Mail" with a mail logo, but then got redirected to Notion's main login page. On mobile, the URL leads to an error page that says "Sorry, that page cannot be found. "

Notion hasn't said anything about this yet. They seem to be expanding their productivity suite, which already includes a calendar app they launched earlier this year after acquiring Cron. An email service could help Notion attract more users and compete with big names like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Fun fact: Notion has an event today where they might announce new products.
