Novak Djokovic Wants To Be HimSelf

Why would a former tennis player think Novak Djokovic is the greatest? What about Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal? Jo-Wilfried Tsonga started supporting Djokovic. Tsonga felt Djokovic should be the GOAT. . A renowned French tennis veteran, he loved Djokovic. This isn't how he started to feel. It began with another player. Tsonga was an eerie sportsman. Then Djokovic became the number one. Tsonga said about Djokovic, "How many times will he win 25, 26, 27, and 28 Grand Slam titles. Who knows? " Let’s put these player abilities into perspective. The three big guys are Novak, Federer and Nadal. Djokovic won 23 major titles from these two before his 23rd win. Who would have guessed that the player with more fights inside and out would surpass the other two? Here’s the thought: Djokovic wins because he is more than just a tennis player. The other two are ferocious tennis players. The Serb’s head-to-head record with the Frenchman was a mere 6-17 though he first beat the Serbian in Bangkok.

One could think that being a "warrior" is necessary. Yet, Tsonga expressed his surprise at the story. Tsonga’s did the impossible. He showed great athleticism. Tsonga was the first to conquer both Federer and Nadal. He won a memorable match against Nadal. They lost twice but had a formidable 4-10 match. Some will never forget Tsonga beating Fedrer, 11 years his senior, in Canada, to rub it into Federer. He also has some super impressive stories. Tsonga once said, "He would be raging and cursing. Some of them were obscene. " Tsonga used to have a headset so he could get a tranquilizer. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga was smart and yet courageous. And to be fair, Tsonga gave the impossible for watching. Aging isn’t easy for any athlete. And for a tennis player, it can be rough. But, Djokovic is already proving again that you can be active at 37 and be the best. If Djokovic gets another gold, he can be like Federer and Nadal and still be the best.
