Packers' Doubs Misses Practice: What's Going On?

Something strange is happening in the Green Bay Packers’ wide receiver room. Romeo Doubs missed practice on Thursday and Friday, and it's not due to an injury. Bill Huber from Sports Illustrated reported that Doubs was upset about his role in the passing game. The team even checked on him at home because they were worried about his well-being. It's a bit odd because Doubs isn't being ignored. He's third on the team with 20 targets, just two behind the leaders Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. With Christian Watson expected to miss this week’s game due to an ankle injury, Doubs was likely to get more playing time against the Rams on Sunday.

But longtime Packers observer Aaron Nagler thinks Doubs might be unhappy with the game plan that was installed in Wednesday's practice. Now, Doubs is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game due to a personal issue. Head coach Matt LaFleur said it's still day-to-day. Last season, the Packers had a weird situation where they suspended star cornerback Jaire Alexander for a crucial game. He almost made a mistake that could have given their opponents an advantage. The team expects everyone to put the team first.
