Pennsylvania Governor Talks Jobs with Elon Musk

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro recently revealed that he had a chat with tech billionaire Elon Musk. This wasn't about politics, though. Musk, who's known for supporting former President Trump, and Shapiro, a big supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris, kept their political views out of the conversation. They talked about jobs and investment opportunities in Pennsylvania. Musk was at a Pittsburgh Steelers game when he made the call. He was sitting in the box of Thomas Tull, a Hollywood producer who's now an investor. Tull connected the two. Shapiro was pleased to hear Musk's ideas about creating jobs and boosting the economy in Pennsylvania.

Musk has a history of making anti-union comments, which might raise some concerns. But Shapiro believes unions are important for the middle class and plans to keep supporting them. This call happened just a month before the election. Both Trump and Harris are trying to win Pennsylvania, a key state. Musk will even campaign for Trump in the state. But Shapiro is busy campaigning for Harris. Musk has ties to Pennsylvania because he went to the University of Pennsylvania. He endorsed Trump after an attempt to assassinate him in Butler, a city near Pittsburgh. Trump praised Musk at a rally, calling him a genius.
