Phoenix Suns Shake Up NBA Draft with Smart Moves
Arizona, Phoenix, USAFriday, June 27, 2025
The Suns got the 36th pick from the Brooklyn Nets earlier in the day. They sent two future second-round picks in return. The Nets have already drafted five players in the first round, so they might not have room for more rookies.
So far, the Suns have kept their lottery pick from the Durant trade. They used it to draft Khaman Maluach from Duke at the 10th slot. They also got center Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets by trading their 29th pick this year.
There are still many good college players available as the second round begins. Some of the top names include Rasheer Fleming, Adou Thiero, Tyrese Proctor, Kam Jones, and Ryan Nembhard. The Suns have a good chance to pick up a solid player to help their team.
