Pistons' Winning Streak Continues
Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, USATuesday, February 25, 2025
Cade Cunningham was the star of the show. He was in complete control. He made a beautiful behind-the-back move to set up a lob to Jalen Duren. Ausar Thompson also had a big night, finishing with 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, four steals, and two blocks. He was everywhere on the court.
The Pistons took their largest lead of the game at 10 with a Dennis Schroeder finger roll with three seconds left in the quarter. The Clippers fought back, but the Pistons extended their lead. Cade Cunningham hit the dagger three with a minute left to put the Pistons up 10. Detroit would go on to win 106-97.
The Pistons have now won seven straight games for the first time since 2014-2015. They are 21-9 since December 21st. The Pistons play again Wednesday night when they host the Eastern Conference #2 seed in the Boston Celtics. Perhaps a playoff preview?
