- Haul of 14,116 cars, exceeding target by more than 4,600 and 4,017 above the same period last year.
Coal Transport Surge
- March coal volume: 1.57 million tons, exceeding the budget by 259,000 tons.
- Transport assets: 221 barges and 9,379 rail cars.
- Vessel loading: 20 vessels in March.
Additional Metrics
- Forest products: Year‑to‑date increase of 3 %.
- Container traffic:
- Up 32 % from the prior month.
- Above last year’s figures by 5.4 %.
Despite challenges in the container terminal during 2025—stemming from shifting U.S. tariff policies and other disruptions—the port remains focused on expanding its capacity to support long‑term growth.
