Power Battle: A18 Pro vs. Snapdragon 8 Elite – Who Wins?
GlobalWednesday, October 23, 2024
It's also interesting to note that both chips are made using TSMC's 3nm 'N3E' node. This means they have similar power consumption, but the A18 Pro just edges ahead. We need to wait and see how things play out when these chips are used in actual phones.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite was tested at its maximum clock speed of 4. 32GHz, which uses more power. If it runs at a lower speed, it might become more power-efficient. We don't have those results yet, but stay tuned!
