He lost his appeal against this ban, which took effect in March 2023.

He was even invited to the royals' estate in Windsor. Authorities think his access to the royals was a big security risk. A judge agreed, saying the home secretary was right to ban him. Among his electronic devices was a letter calling him a "top tree" member and a document warning against setting "too high" expectations with Andrew.
