Protecting Data at LSP-SV IPB: A New Approach with Synology NAS

In today's digital age, keeping information safe is vital, especially for educational institutions like LSP-SV IPB that handle student data and academic records. To tackle this, a study was conducted to develop and implement a strategy for safeguarding these digital assets. The focus was on managing data storage efficiently. The team chose Synology Network Attached Storage (NAS) as their model. NAS is known for its reliability in data management and backup. By using NAS, passive data can be safely stored and archived, while transactional data can be accessed quickly. The research involved studying literature, analyzing software, and conducting experiments in the network environment. They developed and implemented a NAS infrastructure at LSP-SV IPB. The goal was to ensure data integrity and minimize the risk of data loss. The results are expected to contribute to a more efficient and reliable digital asset protection strategy at LSP-SV IPB.
