Protesters Take to Boston's Streets for Gaza War Anniversary
Boston, USAMonday, October 7, 2024
The protesters were unhappy with the ongoing violence and expansion of the war into other regions. They believe that the war has gone on for too long and that innocent people are being harmed. Some protesters, like the Jewish Voice for Peace Boston Chapter, see Zionism as a threat to human rights.
Rabbi Marc Baker, the President and CEO of Combined Jewish Philanthropies, disagrees with the protests. He thinks this is a time to remember those who were killed and to support each other, not to protest.
