In a recent podcast, Kanye West dropped some serious news about his mental health journey. He had been bumpin down a challenging road, initially labeled with bipolar disorder. Kanye has always been open about his struggles. However, he claimed in a recent podcast he wasn't bipolar. He was diagnosed with autism instead. West explained that he only appeared to be the person he was because of his behavior, not because of his lack of thinking. It was his wife, Bianca, who states Kanye's strange behavior didn't feel like a usual bipolar symptom. With her encouragement, West went to get a second diagnosis. He was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. Kanye recalled a famous incident to show how his autism diagnosis explained the controversy caused. In 2018, he wore a MAGA hat and loudly declared that his love for his ex-president was not because of a political influence. Kanye said his autism disorder was as if he were a character from the movie Rain Man. When others object to his actions, he stays true to his choice. According to him he breathes defiance. The rapper confessed that he stopped taking medicine after realizing he was not bipolar.
