Reality Star Amy Slaton's Zoo Mishap Ends with Plea Deal

Amy Slaton, known from the reality show "1000-Lb. Sisters, " recently took a plea deal. This happened after a strange incident at a Tennessee zoo last September. While visiting the Tennessee Safari Park, Slaton was bitten by a camel. The Crockett County Sheriff's Department came to help and noticed some suspicious smells coming from her car. They found drugs inside—psychedelic mushrooms and marijuana. Slaton was arrested, along with a man named Brian Scott Lovvorn, on charges of drug possession and child endangerment. Her two young sons, Gage and Glenn, were in the car.

Slaton made a deal with the court. She won't go to jail, but she'll be on probation for two years. There's also a $500 fine and an alcohol and drug assessment she must attend. However, the more serious charges of child abuse and endangerment were dropped. One condition of the deal is that Slaton can't go back to the Tennessee Safari Park.
