Remembering Auschwitz: 80 Years of Freedom
Tuesday, January 28, 2025
The U. S. joins the global community in honoring the courage of survivors and remembering those who lost their lives. We stand against anti-Semitism and pledge to educate future generations about the horrors of the Holocaust. Despite progress, anti-Semitism still persists. Therefore, we reaffirm our commitment to combating it and promoting respect for all humans.
In the years since, the Jewish people have shown remarkable resilience, re-establishing their homeland in Israel. We celebrate their tenacity and reassert our strong ties with Israel. On this National Day of Remembrance, let's honor the victims and the rescuers, and vow to never forget the lessons of Auschwitz.
