Reporter Taylor Lorenz Leaves Washington Post for Independent Journalism

You might have heard about Taylor Lorenz, a reporter who's known for covering internet culture. She recently decided to leave The Washington Post after they looked into one of her Instagram posts. The post was about President Joe Biden and it caused quite a stir. After that, she hasn't written any more articles for the paper. The Washington Post said they're thankful for the work Lorenz did while she was there. They also mentioned that she's moving on to independent journalism. Lorenz has been with The Washington Post for about two and a half years. Before that, she worked as a technology reporter at The New York Times.

Lorenz is starting her own newsletter called "User Mag" on Substack.
