Resign or Face the Axe: Trump Purge of FBI Senior Ranks

The Trump Administration has taken dramatic steps to transform the upper ranks of the FBI, making the agency seem more like a revolving door than a stable institution. Avalanches of discord have been swirling around the FBI lately, but this time the storms are political rather than legal. The spunky new assistant Director, Kash Patel, is out to make waves. Patel publicly says he's all about unity and isn't interested in targeting anyone for his perceived shortcoming. But now there definitely is a storm brewing that will definitely change the landscape at the top. After all these people had to decide between resigning gracefully or being fired publicly.

This firestorm is coming on the heels of earlier reshuffling at the top echelon just recently. All these panicky removals were all occurring in an unprecedented timeline. Wait… there's more. Suddenly Patel is making the rounds, hosting Senate confirmation hearings and meeting with senators. But while it might appear there is a controversy going on it seems as if it is all just politics. How can someone reassure and then not be honest? Why would they say one thing and do another? The true reasoning behind all of this is hard to understand, but it seems looking into this might not be a bad idea. It's like they are trying to teach people about the difference between words and deeds.
