St. John's University has taken a significant step forward in healthcare education with the launch of its state-of-the-art St. Vincent's Health Sciences Center. This 70,000-square-foot building is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including six interactive mannequins that can simulate emergency scenarios, trained actors, and virtual reality (VR) setups. These innovative tools will enable students to hone their skills in a realistic and immersive environment. The mannequins are designed to mimic real-life situations, allowing students to train for emergencies in real-time. They can "speak, sweat, cry, and blink," making them eerily lifelike. In addition to the mannequins, the center also features VR stations where students can explore the human body in three dimensions.
