Revolutionizing Waste Treatment: A New Graphene Cage
P. denitrificans LabSaturday, November 9, 2024
The cage-shaped CM@PGO can remove DMF 15% more efficiently than regular bacteria floating around. It's also great at repeating this process over and over. The way this cage works is partly due to physical and chemical bonding, fitting a model called Langmuir. In simple terms, this means the cage can soak up a lot of waste – up to 95 milligrams per gram!
What's really cool is that this cage can be used to treat different types of wastewater by changing the kind of bacteria inside. This makes it a promising tool for cleaning up water in the future.
