Rivals Trump and Harris Battle for Wisconsin Votes
Milwaukee, WI, USA,Saturday, November 2, 2024
Trump, who also has support from working-class voters, has made some attempts to reach out to union members. Prior to his Milwaukee rally, he visited Dearborn, Michigan, an Arab-majority city, where some residents remain skeptical due to his past policies.
Democrats in Milwaukee are anxious but hopeful, learning from the 2016 election. Former President Bill Clinton even campaigned with local faith leaders to boost turnout among Black voters. Wisconsin's Republican Party Chair, Brian Schimming, sees Harris's frequent visits to Milwaukee as a sign she's on the defensive.
With numerous rallies and visits, both candidates are focusing on critical areas to sway voters. The Milwaukee Election Commission expects over 100, 000 ballots by Election Day, but the suburban vote is uncertain. The outcome remains uncertain, with both sides anticipating tight results.
