Book deals are expected to bring in more money, with two books in the works: "Unsettled Science" and "A Defense for Israel. " Kennedy plans to cut ties with his law firm and some income sources to avoid conflicts of interest if confirmed. He’s also set to keep earning legal fees from a firm suing the makers of the HPV vaccine Gardasil.
His income includes $856, 559 in referral fees from Wisner Baum and $326, 056 from Children's Health Defense, a nonprofit he recently left after being nominated. His wife, Cheryl Hines, adds to the family income through her acting roles and a memoir advance.
