Pilot Test

• Subjects: 22 people dismantling old desktop computers.
• Method: Half worked without a robot; half worked with a robot handling heavy or awkward parts.
• Findings:
• Workers reported less fatigue when robots handled the toughest tasks.
• Posture‑related issues dropped significantly.

Implications

Sharing tasks with robots can make recycling safer, faster, and kinder to the body. The next step is to test this teamwork with other types of electronic trash and in real factories.
