Samsung's New Flip Phone: Bigger Screens, Same Old Price

Samsung is cooking up something exciting with the Galaxy Z Flip 7. This foldable phone is expected to hit the market in July, alongside its bigger sibling, the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The overall dimensions are also increasing slightly, reaching 166. 6 x 75. 2 x 6. 9mm, or 9. 1mm thick with the camera bump. The camera setup on the Flip 7 is set to remain dual, with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. While these specs might look familiar, they are likely to be upgraded versions. The choice of processor is still up in the air. Some reports suggest the Exynos 2500, while others say Samsung might skip it due to production issues. The Flip 7 will come with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB.

The price tag for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to stay the same as its predecessor, starting at $1, 099. This isn't surprising, given that Samsung hasn't increased prices for the Galaxy S25 series this year. The company is also working on reducing the visibility of the fold crease, making it less noticeable compared to the previous model.
